San Jose Community Eruv

Mission Statement  

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for San Jose Jewish citizens through the creation and upkeep of a community Eruv.

 

What we do  

With the creation and upkeep of an Eruv, San Jose would join a long list of cities and municipalities, big and small, both within the United States and around the world that have established Eruvs: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Cleveland, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Denver, Chicago, Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Vienna, London and many others. By permitting an act so simple as tying twine between poles, San Jose, like so many other communities, could dramatically enhance the quality of life for its Jewish citizens.
